Camp Alleghany Charter Buses

Camp Alleghany offers three charter buses with professional drivers and adult supervision to transport your daughter safely to camp and back home. You may LOG IN TO YOUR ONLINE ACCOUNT to purchase a bus reservation from the "Buy" tab. The buses travel on the first and last days of each term.  Please give your daughter a bag lunch—the buses will NOT stop for lunch.  Plan to arrive 30 minutes earlier than departure time to allow for loading of the bus.  When picking up your daughter at the end of the term please check with the chaperone before leaving the drop-off site so all campers can be checked off properly and all belongings accounted for. On closing day, all buses depart Alleghany by 8:30am and should arrive home by 3:30pm. Drop-off and pick-up location is the same.

Traffic and other unforeseen factors may influence approximated schedules.  We will make every effort to follow the stated schedule.

Bus fees cover the cost of transportation and of two pieces of luggage (one standard-sized trunk/footlocker and one duffle).  If you are sending any information for the Camp Office or Infirmary (camp forms, medications, etc) please do not put these in the camper’s trunk.  Rather, put them in a labeled bag or marked envelope and give them to the bus chaperone.

Remember that buses run on the first and last day of each term:

• Sunday, June 24 and Saturday, July 14 for first term
• Sunday, July 15 and Saturday, August 4 for second term
